ABOUT THE MARKET

Cheesewick…

Originally inspired by Jamie Oliver’s ‘Save British Cheese’ campaign in 2020 we set about creating a market for cheese producers and enthusiasts to come together over the very best cheeses from Britain and beyond and bring the wonder of well-crafted cheese to Chiswick.

Chiswick Cheese Market is on the third Sunday of every month bringing cheese back to Chiswick (or Cheesewick as it was historically known).

Who we are

We are a group of women who are passionate about Chiswick and cheese! Among our ranks of dedicated foodies are restaurateurs, chefs, cooks, caterers and cookbook authors.

To date we have produced the Cookbook Festivals 2018 -2019 and host the popular chef-led supper clubs in the local W4 area.

Chiswick W4

Chiswick was first recorded c.1000 as the Old English Ceswican meaning "Cheese Farm"and the riverside area of Duke's Meadows is thought to have supported an annual cheese fair up until the 18th century.

Today it is a thriving hub for foodies, with independent food shops and restaurants on a wide tree-lined high street and adjacent roads.

Transport links include District Line, Chiswick mainline, Cycleway 9 and plentiful buses.
