One of those ways we support is by funding five new cheesemakers each year with grants to help with their accreditation, consultancy and then giving them somewhere to introduce their beloved cheese babies to market. Five very different stories, five very different gorgeous talented people all needing just a little help towards their dream.
We do this in conjunction with The Academy of Cheese (@cheese_academy) who are the UK’s cheese education body. We concentrate on offering education and accreditation to help these gifted, passionate home cheese makers move along to the next stage of their cheese making journey.
They will all be coming to the market in the future to meet you, so watch this space for updates, but a big thank you to you all as it is your support of The Chiswick Cheese Market that allows us to offer these exciting new cheesemakers help along their journey.
Our cheese maker grants this year have gone to Matt Gue, Jo Shelton, Mathew Lloyd, Emily Tydeman and Finn Dunlop, and they are looking forward to meeting you soon.
